What we track

We count visits to two pages on this site: the homepage and the Security page. No other page is tracked.

What we store

For each tracked visit, we store which of the two pages was visited and a timestamp. Separately, the page asks your browser for its own timezone setting (e.g. "Asia/Beirut") using a standard browser feature, and stores that as its own independent weekly tally - it is not linked to which page you visited, or to you personally in any way. We do not look at or store your IP address, and we do not use any location-finding service - your device's timezone setting is not the same thing as a location fix, it is just a setting your device already has.

What we don't do

We don't use cookies for this. We don't look at or store your IP address. We don't use any location-finding service, GPS, or geolocation of any kind. We don't use any third-party analytics or tracking service, no external company or dataset is involved in any way, and no visit data is ever sent to another company - the timezone reading happens entirely between your browser and our own server. We don't identify individual visitors or build a profile of anyone.

How long we keep it

Visit data is kept for up to one week. Every week, the entire record is wiped and counting starts over, so there is no long-term history of who visited or when.

Who can see it

A rolling summary (total visits, a breakdown by country, worked out from the timezone tally, and a breakdown by page) is visible only to natourelbeit staff with an admin account, inside the internal dashboard. It is never published or shared outside natourelbeit.
